As you know we have been running ENB for about 18 months and that time we have heard some great presentations and great ideas from some of Barcelona’s budding entrepreneurs. Our focus has been on the ‘ideas’ end of the spectrum, with companies that have either just set up or are about to set up or who have been running a short while.
Over the next few months, we want to highlight some of the businesses that are on their way to becoming slightly more established and that have been running for 3- 5 years in Barcelona. We will aim to find out the challenges that they have faced, the lessons they have learned and their prospect for the next 5 years in Barcelona.
This week we have the pleasure in inviting two special guests to speak, the first being our very own Board Director Tony Anagor from Lifestyle Experiences Group SL.

Tony and his team specialise in marketing unique one in a lifetime experiences in Spain and packing them as gifts for special occasions and as unforgettable touristy activities. Over the last 6 years Tony’s company can boast over 15,000 satisfied and happy clients, his activities include action stuff like Ferrari Driving on an F1 Track or more relaxing experiences such as blind folded wine tasting in a castle or even scuba diving in an underwater wine cellar!
As a British expat and a pioneer in this exciting market sector, Tony has faced many challenges both in setting up and running his business in Spain. He will be sharing his experiences.
The second speaker we are delighted to having presenting is Timo Buetefisch from COOLTRA – The Scooter Company.
Timo is the founder of one of Barcelona’s leading tourist scooter rental companies COOLTRA http://www.cooltra.com, providing tourists with the unique opportunity to see the city from a ‘local perspective’. With over 500 scooters not only in Barcelona but also in Valencia, Mallorca, Ibiza, Madrid, Bilbao and Seville one of Cooltra’s long-term objectives to expand this to over 3000 scooters by 2010 with 30 branches operating across Spain.
Timo will be taking us through the ups and downs of running a successful business in Barcelona and giving us an insight into their strategy for short and long-term growth in Barcelona and across Spain.
As always there will be an opportunity for ENB members to participate in a Q&A session afterwards where they can probe the speakers for further information and possible advice.
