This months’ ENB meeting will be on Thursday 18th September at the HOTEL CASANOVA, C/Gran Via de les Corts Catalanes, 559.

This meeting will start with a Round Table event from 19.30 (prior to the social event from 20.30), in which we will be discussing ENB, our offering and plans for the future. We would like to take this opportunity to have a selection of ENB members present to share with us their views on ENB, ideas for future events and seminars and to generally explain what ENB means for them.

We would therefore like to ask those members who would be interested in taking part to email us with their expression of interest accompanied with a brief description of what they would particularly like to bring to the discussion.

We feel that this is an ideal platform to share ideas and to help establish future events and seminars.

For those members not attending the Round Table meeting, please remember that we will have the regular social meeting afterwards starting at 20.30.

The streets are empty and the temperature just keeps on climbing, but there are still a few mad dogs prepared to venture out in the midday sun.

For those of you still in Barcelona next week, we’d like to invite you to the ‘Rooftop Sundowners’, a purely social gathering to be held on the rooftop terrace of the The Hotel Condes de Barcelona Passeig de Gràcia, 73-75. Please note that the terrace is above No. 73, not No. 75.

The date is next Thursday, August 14th.

The Hotel Condes de Barcelona occupies a prime location on Paseo de Gracia, in the heart of Modernist Barcelona and facing the famous Gaudi building La Pedrera.

The evening kicks off at 8.00pm and will follow a strict format of casual socialising. There are no presentations planned, and no speeches.

The normal ENB meetings will be back in full force in September. Watch this space closely for details of our first meeting after the summer.

At last months ENB meeting, we were delighted to see over 60 ENB members turn out to take part in our ENB Summer Social Special – a private boat trip around Barcelona port on the Catamaran Orsom.

Members were relaxing, sipping drinks in the company of fellow entrepreneurs, enjoying the great views of Barcelona, as well as the soothing sounds of live jazz and chill out music.

We were especially pleased to see lots of new members come along, for some of whom it was their first ENB experience. The feedback from these members and others about the event was very positive. Many expressed the ease at which they were able to network, and how open fellow members were in welcoming them to the group.

All the money made on the bar will go towards future events and seminars.

We would like to thank all of you who attended, and for your ongoing support.

A real alternative to plastic and polystyrene food containers is now available in Spain.

Made from natural plant, after use the products can be composted or left to naturally degrade (a process that is accelerated when in prolonged contact with moisture). We will be hearing more from Javier and Cristina in the months to come, as we know it is very important to have a good business but even more important to have good lawyers and gestors!!!

We also wanted to comment on the 2 minute presentations yesterday, the standard was very high and we were pleased to see people taking advantage of the elevator pitch opportunity to promote themselves.

The social drink was also very enjoyable there were many new faces and we urge you all to mix, chat network and exchange ideas with each other.
