TALK: Is your business as efficient as it could be?

Michael Egan & Miguel Angel Blanca, Spence Clarke S.L.
“Business Accounting and Tax Made Simple”

We have all been to presentations on how to set up a company; the capital required, lawyers, escrituras, notaries and so on. But once the company is set up, are we so busy rushing around getting clients and providing them with goods and services that without knowing it we are wasting money, and not operating as efficiently as we could be? Do we really understand what is contained and revealed in the accounts prepared by our accountants? Could we be more cost efficient? Could we be more tax efficient? In the current economic climate, the companies that come through successfully will be those that not only look carefully at their product offering, sales, and marketing, but that also take care of their costs.

We are delighted to announce that the presentation for this month’s ENB meeting on Thursday, 19th November at 19:30 will be given by Michael Egan and Miguel Angel Blanca of Spence Clarke S.L. They will be covering topics such as:

- Knowing your accounts, do you really understand what you are declaring in your accounts?
- Tax (a cost of doing business)
- Budgeting and tax planning for new businesses
- Vehicle for trading (Company vs. Sole Trader) Capital allowances
- How to complete your own accounts
- Changes to tax laws and tax rates 2009/2010

These are topics which many  entrepreneurs often leave to one side while they “do business”.  We hope that this presentation will help us all take this key area more seriously.

PLEASE BE SURE TO REGISTER EARLY so as to avoid disappointment. You can register by emailing us with your name and company to: info@networkbarcelona.com

Please also be sure to arrive punctually, ideally by 19.10/19.15, in order to complete registration before the talks. The talks will start at 19.30 and it may not be possible to enter once they have done so.
