Mirella Visser is the President of the European Professional Women’s Network for all of Europe, including some 3500 members of more than 90 nationalities across 17 European cities.
She is also the founder and CEO of the Centre for Inclusive Leadership, an organisation that advises and coaches CEO’s and companies on leadership issues and is a frequent speaker at international conferences on leadership in Asia, and Women and Leadership.
Mirella’s previous working experience includes several international senior executive positions at ING, for which she was regional director in Hong Kong, and KPMG. She currently holds positions on various advisory and supervisory boards as well as being a regular guest speaker at universities and business schools, amongst which INSEAD and the Rotterdam School of Management. She has also written several published articles on the topic of women and leadership and co-authored the book “Women on Boards - Moving Mountains” in December 2007 (http://www.europeanpwn.net/index.php?article_id=54). In 2007 she was nominated as ‘European of the Year’ as one of the 50 most influential Europeans by the Economist for her work in promoting women’s leadership issues in the Netherlands and Europe.

Her presentation “Women and Leadership – from Crisis to Chances” - addresses the economic necessities of inclusive leadership and the challenges organisations have in this area as well as the challenges professional women face, especially in these times of economic downturn.
