We are sure you are all seasoned-enough operators not to have believed it, but it seems that a spammer/scammer has been sending emails to some members in the name of Basil Demeroutis, Capricorn Investment Group, with the typical story about passing millions of dollars through their accounts. Of course, this email is entirely false and you should not reply.
Mr Demeroutis does indeed exist, and works at the company named, although it is of course not him who is sending the emails, and they do not come from his company. It is simply someone masquerading as him. We have contacted him to warn him of the fact that his name is being used in this way.
