This month’s spotlight shines on ENB member Florian Mueck and his pro-European movement The Festival. // www.thefestival.eu The Festival brings the European idea to life. Driven by the experiences during his ERASMUS exchange year in Barcelona in 1997/98, Florian had this dream to move the spirit of European togetherness to a broader level for a long time. But it was not until October 2006 when he came up with the idea to create the biggest pan- and pro-European movement ever. What began as a intangible idea – a mega celebration for people from all over Europe – has turned into a concrete online and mega event driven project.
